About the Show
Coburg comes alive with a spectacular array of colour and culture!
Presented as part of the Melbourne Fringe, this FREE, family-friendly festival showcases local artists, culture, people and the places of Coburg.
Coburg Carnivale will feature three new works- nomnomnom, The Imaginarium and Temple of the Wind.
In the site-specific nomnomnom you will take to the streets and deliver food to real houses in Coburg, getting glimpses into the lives of your customers.
The Imaginarium celebrates the extraordinary life of Mr E.W.Cole. Most remembered for ‘Cole’s Funny Picture Books’, this picture puzzle book provocateur changed the fabric of Melbourne as we know it, promoting books, education, fun, and diverse cultures.
And finally, immerse yourself in the Temple of the Wind, an installation celebrating wind through art, technology and mythology.
