About the Show

Going Down Swinging is one of Australia’s longest-running and most respected literary journals: publishing digital as well as print and audio anthologies since 1979 and producing sensational, sold-out live events.

We’re launching Pigeonholed, our very special thirty-ninth edition, and we’re celebrating at Grub Street Bookshop. Stick your beak in from 6pm to pocket a copy of the book, grab a glass of wine and catch performances by Claire G. Coleman, Mira Schlosberg and Scott Wings.

THE BASH:
– Entry is free, but please RSVP via Eventbrite so there’s enough drinks to go around
– This event will be Auslan-interpreted
– Drinks on donation. Bring cash – think gold coins

We will be having some short speeches on the night, as well as three performances.
