About the Show

The Listies Go For Bronze | The Listies (AUS)

Don’t miss Australia’s most sought after kidult comedians, The Listies, as they hit the stages of the Commonwealth Games with a fun packed session of sporting shenanigans.

Part game-show, part Zumba class, part comedy routine, it’s a madcap, ridiculous and uproarious hour of interactive comedy. Expect toilet paper guns, beach balls and the worlds dirtiest pair of underpants!

For kids aged 4-400 million* (*dinosaurs allowed).

Recommended for ages 4+ years.

There will be performances with Auslan translation at 4pm and 6pm on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 April.

“If The Wiggles are the Eagles, The Listies are the Sex Pistols,” The Age.

“Nobody else does comedy for kids this brilliantly, but what’s more astounding is that adults have just as much fun. The Listies occupy a dimension all of their own,” Sydney Morning Herald.

About the creators:

The Listies are serious about being silly. Formed in 2008 by professional idiots Richard Higgins and Matthew Kelly, they are now Australia’s most popular live comedy act for kidults (kids and their adults). To date, they have written eight award-winning and critically acclaimed live shows, recorded two audio CDs, and published two books – all of which have been making audiences laugh all over the world.

Their first show, More fun than a Wii! was the first and only kids show ever to be nominated for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival best show award (the Barry). Since then they have won multiple awards and nominations, including the 2013 Sydney Critics Award for Best Children’s Production. They have sold out shows from Melbourne to Malaysia, Sydney to South Korea, and Dublin to Dubbo.
