About the Show

Come and enjoy a family night out singing along to your favourite Christmas carols at the 36th Manningham Carols by Candlelight. Pack a picnic rug and head to Ruffey Lake Park to celebrate the festive season with traditional carols and musical entertainment, a free family festival, and a spectacular evening fireworks display.

There will be a range of delicious food and drink offerings from some of Melbourne’s finest food trucks as well as local stalls, including Asian street food, souvlaki, Filipino and American BBQ, gourmet Mac n Cheese, St Gerry’s donuts, gelato, coffee and fresh juices. Christmas glow novelties will be available to purchase, and an ATM will be on site.

6.00 pm to 7.30 pm
Kids Zone
Keep the little ones entertained with a range of free fun activities, face painting and jumping castle, and don’t miss out on an opportunity to have their photo taken with Santa. Pre-show entertainment, featuring band Code One, kicks off at 6.30 pm.

8.00pm to 10.00 pm
Main Concert
Australian actor and performer Dan Hamill will compère the evening’s celebrations with headline acts by Richard Thomas, Angela Lumicisi and Samantha Du Rennes. Performances will feature the Melbourne Contemporary Choir, Manningham Concert Band and a special guest appearance from Santa.
