And Also Presents and Sisteria podcast is pleased to host a conversation exploring what #Metoo has meant and could mean in Australia in a creative, social and legal sense.
#MeToo, Creativity and the Law:
And Also Presents and Sisteria Podcast are pleased to host a live podcast and conversation exploring what #MeToo has meant and could mean in Australia in a cultural, creative and legal sense.

The panel brings together creatives, academics and legal experts to discuss critical and creative responses to the #MeToo movement. The event acknowledges the legacy of Tarana Burke in creating and maintaining a global movement, while looking specifically at what has been happening in Australia over the last 2 years. With Australia’s defamation laws prohibiting more legal actions here than in the US, the panel will explore how artists are responding to #MeToo through creative platforms. It will examine the limitations of our current legal system and propose avenues for a more equal and violence-free future.

This event will be Auslan interpreted.
