Here, panellists will be pondering:
What is happening locally to support LGBTIQA+ communities of colour and communities of faith?
How might panellists’ working in health, activism, organising, art and writing engage with issues of community care? Addressing inequality? Speaking to silences?
What assumptions or stereotypes need addressing for QTIPoC?
How do things like racism, faith-based discrimination play out in LGBTIQA+ communities?
What can be done to create better equity for QTIPoC?
What do you think could be better understood about mental health from our perspectives?
Event attendees are invited to ask questions and answer a short survey on LGBTIQA+ equity issues to be distributed online later.
This is an initiative of the QTIPoC project
