About the Show
Queer. Autistic. Veteran. So many stereotypes to choose from.
Jacci is Autistic. Not a person with Autism. Autism is not a dog, the dog’s name is Pepper. Jacci was late diagnosed like many people with vaginas. Late to everything everyone else thinks important, yet exactly on time to the things that matter to spectrum folk. Jacci, non-binary neurodivergent truth bomber, presents a conversation in literal comedy, about being literal, throwing shade at ableism and embracing disability pride.
Jacci’s comedy is kinda nerdy. It’s been described as like that other big name talk series only a heck of a lot funnier. They are known for wearing a massive velvet vulva on stage to talk about body positivity. But this will be packed away for this show. Legit. Word even.
This is the first time an assistance dog has been a feature of a show in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, come see Pepper onstage with Jacci.
